The formless Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of Sadashivamoorthi or Shiva Lingam. The Lord Shiva is supposed to have 6 faces, one for each direction. But we see only five faces of them and the one at the bottom is not seen. (That which is not seen, doesn't mean it doesn't exist). Those six faces are given below.
